We are currently evaluating open source BPMS. The search capability is really crucial for
us. We have a single workflow that gets startet hundred times a day. So we have thousands
of instances. How should a supervisor find critical processes? I really love jBPM so far,
but this could be a show stopper :-/

Currently, there's no way of searching for process instances that contain variables
set to a given value.
Sometimes, there's no way of assigning a process instance key when starting a
process, so we need to search for processes using values stored in some of the
variables...
