This crashing business doesn't seem to be a problem for Firefox. It crashes IE for me
also, though I have not checked out Safari.
Does this problem have anything to do with the timeout issues associated with remoting
callbacks? There was a similar issue in SEAM a while back that apparently got resolved...

First time when the reports are accessed, the request times out and the console cannot
show the reports. Reports cannot be made visible afterwards.
Workaround: log out and log back in.
