Hi Orhun,

I believe that's because the jBPM Eclipse Plugin is older than the than the BPMN2 eclipse editor -- essentially, the jBPM plugin was there first and as such as included in the package then.

At the moment -- as far as I know -- there's more work going on with the BPMN2 eclipse editor and I think that the BPMN2 eclipse editor will eventually replace the jBPM plugin. It's just that that hasn't happened yet.

Marco

Hi Tihomir,

I realized that my question was wrong.

Here it is the right question;

Why does drools’s latest package (5.2) contain jBPM Eclipse Plugin (http://www.jboss.org/jbpm/components/eclipse-plugin ) instead of BPMN2 Eclipse editor (http://kverlaen.blogspot.com/2011/02/new-bpmn-20-eclipse-editor.html)?

Is there any problem or issue with BPMN2 Eclipse editor?

Does BPMN2 Eclipse editor offer the same functionality for Debugging and testing as jBPM Eclipse Plugin?

Which Eclipse Plugin do you suggest when testing your processes in Eclipse? jBPM Eclipse Plugin or BPMN2 Eclipse editor?

Thanks
