That's a good question!

Since jBPM 5 is java 5 compliant, I looked up and found the minimum hardware specs here:

If I had to guess, I'd say that jBPM 5 needs the following:

Minimum hardware requirements:

The jbpm-installer/runtime directory is approximately 18MB (after download), so I just rounded up towards 25.

I think that a minimum of 1 Gb of RAM is recommended.
