Paul Robinson commented on Feature Request JDF-150

Pete and I feel that a better scenario would be to do something like this:

1. Begin TX1
2. Use Bean1 with injected Entity Manager and do Work1
3. Suspend TX1
4. Begin TX2
5. Use Bean1 again and do Work2
6. Commit TX2
7. Show that only Work2 has been committed
8. Resume TX1
9. Use Bean1 again and do Work3
10. Commit TX1
11. Show that Work1 and Work3 are committed.

This relies on manual transaction management which is not possible with the DeltaSpike implementation. This is because the DeltaSpike implementation of @TransactionScoped is managed by @Transactional only.

Pete and I think we should wait for the Java EE 7 impl of @TransactionScoped before we produce this quickstart.
