Here is a jQuery Mobile issue with a workaround for the 'toPage.data( "page" )' problem. Perhaps it might help.
But the root problem is that this WebKit is just too old for new HTML5 frameworks. IMO, instead of fixing this particular jQuery Mobile example, we should provide a way to upgrade WebKit on RHEL 6.x.
