It will, but, there's nothing we can do about it. It won't even be a huge breakage either. Currently eclipse will not try to download EAP 6.x. It will just display a hyperlink and suggest they go use a browser to do it themselves. After the change, it will attempt to download, and then fail.
Either way, we'll be encouraging the users to upgrade to the new maintenance GA. We've made a decision that we'd like to see this in soon. We'll let you know when. Fred and Max will both sign off.
