Each example intentionally covers multiple features/modules/use-cases. So, they're not really QS and we call them just "examples".
We did not have any specific plans to publish them in DS/JDF/.... However, it would surely be nice if they made it into DS upstream, or some JBoss place (jboss-developer/?). After some cleanup, at least some of them could be used that way.
