Brian Leathem I was thinking about how to implement it and I the most close solution that I thought (that can work for multiple project) is the following:

Create a removePomProperties property - So you can remove any properties declaration from the original quickstart: version.richfaces, version.jboss.bom.eap, version.jboss.bom.wfk, etc

Create a insertPomPropertyFile property - A property pointing to a file that holds the full #if #else #end clause.

What do you think about this proposal ? Any other idea on how to implement this solution ?
