Not as far as I know.

RHEL 6 does not have a webkit with a fix so to make it work the workaround was to be made in JDF examples.

But at this point I think this will just have to be marked as a known issue and not recommend using RHEL 6 for mobile app development since it does not have a recent enough html5 browser component.
