The deltaspike-helloworld-jms quickstart uses Weld SE which is not supported in EAP or WFK.
A possible solution is to make the quickstart a web application instead of a standalone application.

It would be best if it took some input message and showed the result on a webpage, instead of writing to a log, it would improve testability.
