I tested with the artifact from jboss-staging (https://repository.jboss.org/nexus/content/repositories/jboss_releases_staging_profile-3305).
You're right, it would be best to wait with the merge, I'll add a comment on the PR.

(I relied on "eventual consistency" – in the worst case scenario, JDF upstream 2.6.x-develop BOM would be invalid for the short time period between the PR merge and the central sync, which would eventually make it consistent).
