There are 2 errors when you build Greeter-Spring with Eclipse because it uses the jdt instead of javac to compile.

Build path is incomplete. Cannot find class file for javax/servlet/ServletContext

Build path is incomplete. Cannot find class file for javax/transaction/UserTransaction

This can be resolved if these are referenced in the pom.
