Hi Kevin,

Java 6 should be sufficient. Are you using a Mac by any chance? Google search results indicate that this problem is typical on the Mac due to some permission issue involving the JDK.

I'm on the very first example - helloworld

mvn doesn't appear to identity which file - but there are only HelloService.java and HelloWorldServlet.java ...
