This looks like Eclipse had some trouble with network connectivity and failed to download the referenced schemas cleanly, or didn't download them at all. To confirm this, you could view the cache preference page in Eclipse via Window -> Preferences -> General -> Network Connection -> Cache (see attached pic for JBDS 6.0.GA).
If you see the XSDs listed there, then the cache might be invalid, and you could safely remove them from the cache. If you do not see the XSDs, you might want to verify your network connectivity preferences in Eclipse.
