That looks like a problem when running against AS 7.1.1. We've upgraded to a newer version of the deploy plugin. I'd recommend using EAP 6.2; you can get the 0 dollar developer subscription from here: http://www.jboss.org/products/...
You could try downgrading the deploy plugin version to 7.3 and it might work.
