What Jason said. At best the Maven Antrun plugin could be used in the build, but that would be a hack. Besides, in a real world project, Forge is not expected to be used within a build; it's a developer toolchain not a build plugin.

What is the reason Forge must be run manually in the build-process?
Couldn't that be automated in the maven-build, too?
