Just to provide some context, at Devoxx, Andy, Ed, Roger, Pete and myself discussed the confusion about whether there would be an MR for Java EE 6 final. It appears that several of us made an assumption that there would be, but, as it turns out, the EG never officially agreed on it (there was no vote on the list or in writing). So, officially, there will be no MR for Java EE 6. But, as Ed has said here, we will begin investigating when this might be possible in the future. So far, there is no agreed upon date.

I realize that several of you are eager to get started on official work
towards the next official JCP release of JSF.  I want to remind you that
just because we're not actively making changes to the frame-maker
document portion of the specification, it doesn't mean we can't make
progress on real issues.  Let's continue to use this list until Dan
prevails in getting the JCP to address our issues regarding the move to
the jsr-314-public list.

Yep, I'm still working to get these mailinglists sorted. Perhaps I should try my Belgian beer and chocolate bribing approach ;)
