I&#39;m writing the Composite Components chapter for CJSF, and I hate to say: &quot;Due to a bug in the reference implementation for JSF 2.0, the required attribute for composite components doesn&#39;t work.&quot; :(<br><br>
It would also be nice if we documented the repercussions for not supplying a required attribute.<br><br>I filed a bug report on this awhile ago. It seems like some low-hanging fruit, as far as bugs go.<br><br>Thanks,<br><br>
