[JBoss JIRA] (GADGETS-28) Service Overview Gadget sometime hangs in chrome
by Gary Brown (JIRA)
Gary Brown commented on GADGETS-28:
-----------------------------------
Also tried the following:
1) Response time gadget - hovered over graph point to show the pop up with specific details, and waited for refresh cycle, but didn't cause a hang.
2) Situations gadget - expanded a situation. When a refresh occurs, it collapses the list, but doesn't hang. Not sure if it would be possible to leave the situation entries expanded?
3) Call trace - opened the config section and selected the refresh cycle to cause the drop down menu to display - kept this displayed long enough for atleast one refresh, but again it didn't seem to cause any problems.
So at the moment it does look like it is specific to the svg rendering in the service overview.

> By using the SOAP-UI to generate the testing data (not the activityclient), it looks like the chrome will hang due to the serivce overview gadget.

[JBoss JIRA] (SRAMP-184) Support sub-artifact sets in the S-RAMP query
by Eric Wittmann (JIRA)
Eric Wittmann commented on SRAMP-184:
-------------------------------------
This is mostly done - the only thing missing is a "DISTINCT" on the query. But currently I believe ModeShape has a bug where DISTINCT isn't working properly. I've left it out for now. The result is that some sub-artifact-set queries will return the same artifact multiple times. Most use-cases this does not happen, however.

> Add support for sub-artifact sets, which would allow queries like this:
> /s-ramp/wsdl/PortType[@name='OrderServicePT']/operation
> This would return all of the Operation artifacts. This requires a 3-way join in JCR.

Looks like this is reproducable - if you maximise the service overview gadget when it is displaying a set of services, and then hover over one of the operations to display the 'tooltip' with the metrics, when the refresh occurs it clears the tooltip (popup) but then is non-responsive.
