Gary Brown commented on SRAMP-433:
----------------------------------
Agree re: java objects - I've used Drools Fusion (CEP) with RTGov but only using typed
java objects - where the conditions can access properties by name. Not sure how it deals
with json or xml - something to investigate.
+1, I think we need a standard event definition, although some events sources may generate
their own representations, but these could be mapped at the outer layer for the event
framework.
For now we could define a simple core subset of properties that DTGov needs to react to
SRAMP changes. As we then add new event sources we may need to expand this set of
properties.
Create a proper Event producer for s-ramp

Project: S-RAMP
Issue Type: Feature Request
Security Level: Public(Everyone can see)
Components: Core
Reporter: Eric Wittmann

Fix For: 0.6.0
Currently dtgov monitors s-ramp for changes by polling. It would be more efficient if
dtgov could listen for events it cared about.
Ideally we could add a listener to the s-ramp repository either at the global level or by
including a filter of some kind, so we can make sure to get only a subset of the total
events coming from the server.
