I agree, the IdP Proxy is a different thing than what was done for that quickstart (dynamic idp resolution). A proxy would basically act as a gateway in order to connect SPs to different IdPs.

Today, this feature is not being covered by our roadmap and I'm not sure if we are going to implement it any time soon.

I'm going to re-open this issue. I'm really not sure why I've closed it with a reference to that quickstart.
