The issue was also not only that "/hosted" is hardcoded but that once logged in, any request for any resource is intercepted. PL then tries to return /hosted instead of the requested resource. Requesting these resources before logging in works fine.
This makes it impossible to reference css or images in the page located in /hosted. It also makes it impossible to implement more complex pages there (e.g. a "change password" page), which was my original intention when I discovered this bug.
