Thnx for the resolution. It seems to work fine for us.

What I did was getting the versions 2.7.0.FINAL and the one you changed (master) from GIT. I merged your changes into the 2.7.0.FINAL on my own system and executed a maven build. The jar-files created I am now using in our clustered environment. The serialization error has disappeared.

We have chosen to do this within the 2.7.0.FINAL so that we wouldn't get any other changes form the master for 2.8.0 which is not final yet.
