Bruno, you're right. We had some changes to the IdmAuthenticator that have impacted the DIGEST authentication.

This is already fixed for beta4. I found this issue working with the digest quickstart:

I have also improved our test case for the AuthenticatorFilter + BASIC and DIGEST schemes.
