Both tests use shared class TestComponentWithJSR303 (http://anonsvn.jboss.org/repos/richfaces/modules/tests/metamer/trunk/ftes...). There are 2 problems: # '_textEquals.locator(...).text(...)_' should be replaced by '_TextContainsCondition.getInstance().locator(...).text(...)_' (because of the prefix in MyFaces messages) # Filling the inputs manually produces validator messages, but the tests don't.
