Ilya Shaikovsky commented on RFPL-96:
-------------------------------------
I agree that default behavior - is fixing headers sizes to single line with some default
fonts and etc..
But as for me we definitelly should allow the user to redefine the header with any content
but declare in the same time that he will have to specify height for the header element in
this case on his own. (And not for every component, e.g. panel which has single header div
will just fit the content size without additional specifications but using tabs - he
should)
So I choosing 2) way.
And b.t.w. why we propose in 2) to specify size for all elements at once? He could specify
for the concrete tab for example which has bigger content and we could calculate biggest
width and define for other tabs wrapper elements? Such calculation could be done at server
side encode time and will allow to have tabs with different sizes. Or I missed something?
Investigate options and alternatives for multi-line and fixed fonts
restrictions on semantic layouts

Project: RichFaces Planning
Issue Type: Task
Components: components
Reporter: Jay Balunas

as possible ) that may allow us to use multi-line/fixed fonts.
