yes.. sounds great.. the main restriction when I think about guvnor is the idea of package..
should be nice to have something like a workspace(as mark mention) with multiple packages in it and associated assets that can be used across packages.

This is a little related to how I'd like to move forward for deployment. The current Package deployment model is sub optimal. People really want to think in terms of workspaces/projects. So they'll want to collect their knowledge for their knowlegebase and see it in a single workspcae which can be configured for deployment. Having a GUI spring configuration is certainly a step in that direction.
