I didn't need to .. e.g. I added this "free form drl" in to one of my rules "then" part, and it validated it successfully. You just need to provide a fully qualified name .. e.g. java.util.Vector, instead of just Vector.

Subject: [rules-users] Import java.util*, java.math* inside Guvnor BRL?

Hi,

In order to import java.util* classes inside Guvnor rules, do I need to

upload java,util* jar file.

For example-, I am using BigDecimal amount = BigDecimal.ZERO;

It complains unknown class or Illegal statement BigDecimal
