I don't know why, but I can't access the blog you mention, so I'm not sure which steps did you follow.From your logs, it seems you are using jboss AS 2.1.1, am I right? I'm not sure how to check if a particular webapp is deployed or not in jboss AS, but the first thing you can check is the output log of the app server to see if there is any error there.
By the way, what is the exact name of the .war file you are deploying?
And regarding your last question, you don't need to have eclipse plugin installed in order to run designer.

No, I am unable to browse the process
through the link http://localhost:8080/designer/editor?profile=jbpm&uuid
means I didn't deployed designer webapp
properly, Sorry I don't know whether designer webapp is deployed
or not.
Please let me know how to check this.
and also one more doubt, for
accessing the link http://localhost:8080/designer/editor?profile=jbpm&uuid
do we need to install Jbpm plugins in
Eclipse?
As of now I haven't install Jbpm plugins
in Eclipse.

Can you confirm that designer webapp is deployed at least?
It is also important that the context name must be "designer"
By the way, even if designer is running properly, you
can't just browse it with /designer/. You need to pass 2 mandatory parameters:
uuid (can be empty) and profile: http://localhost:8080/designer/editor?profile=jbpm&uuid=

Hi to all,
I followed all the steps given in the link https://blog.athico.com/2010/09/bpmn2-authoring-int-drools-guvnor.html
but when i am trying to create the process in Guvnor I am getting following
error:
HTTP Status 404- /designer/editor/
type Status report
message /designer/editor/
description The requested resource (/designer/editor) is not available
JBoss Web/2.1.1.GA.
and also I am unable to open the designer through browser
I got above same error in browser.
Please any one help me.
