Yes, this is deliberate, but not necessarily ideal.

Please check there is nothing already similar in JIRA (https://issues.jboss.org/browse/GUVNOR) and raise as an enhancement request for future resolution, if not already in existence.

Ideally we'd (erm, I'd) like to move the current solution to "tabular templating" where each column is a DRL fragment of whatever you like with place-holders.... but time is not on my side.

them in a Decision Table...but the actions (on specific fields) are all
formula/expression values, not literal.
