In case it provides any hints on what the issue might be, I grabbed the 5.5.0_Final binary, and I'm running in Tomcat 7 on Java 1.6.0_31.

The exception reported in the dev tools console is as follows:

If that fails too.. can anybody share some more specifics? I tried with the "mortgages" example with 5.5.x code and it worked OK.

I have been working on my own upgrade to 5.5 today (been on 5.3 until now), so I now have a couple of 5.5 Guvnor installations. The "Load Template Data" button does nothing on either of them. :(

For what it's worth, I'm seeing a GWT error in Chrome Developer Tools and in Firebug, when I click the button. But being GWT, it's not very enlightening.
