Yes it is quite possible provided that in the action part you need to set appropriate date that the other rule expect to trigger.

ex:
 rule 1
     when
            Object1(data1 == "s")
      then
           Object2.setBoolValue(true)
        update()

rule 2
        when
              object2(boolvalue==true)
         then
              sop();
