I don't see how those are related as the metawidget POM files don't have any dependency information. And the inclusion of the metawidget JARs is not new in 2.2.0.CR1. I think perhaps the way they are pulled into the build makes it look as though they are new. They are added at dist time as a way to take the dependencies offline.
