As Jose mentioned, the booking example will be included in the next Seam 3 bundle, which is CR2. We'll also be updating ticket monster to run on EE 6 shortly.

The community is invited to create and/or contribute other example applications. We've got a bunch of ideas here: http://seamframework.org/Documentation/ExampleIdeas

Yes, with the first cut of Seam 3 in sights, the floor is official open for discussing migration strategies and guides. I'll follow up with a mail on the $subject.
