We are a small team here (5/7) and using xmlmind to create our books.
Rather fine, just :
- be used to funny shortcuts (CTRL+UP/CTRL+DOWN, ...). Once you get then it's ok
- duplicate id between xml files.
I would recommend it if you're writing docbook tags by hand.
It's not ms-word though, so if someone knows a better tool for docbook, I'm really
interested ;)

Not sure if you're referring

but http://www.syntext.com/downloads/serna/ really seems to help. You can get WYSIWG
editing and validation. At least better than trying to know all the docbook tags :) Also,
anyone that needs some help, please come to #pressgang on freenode, the documentation team
for JBoss hang out there and can help. They're in Brisbane though, so time zones may
not be great for some of us.
