Issue Type: Enhancement Enhancement
Affects Versions: 0.6
Assignee: Unassigned
Components: tooling

Description:

Currently when items are laid out on the diagram canvas, connecting lines sometimes go through other boxes. For complex configurations, this will become very messy very quickly and require a user to manually move individual shapes to see connecting lines more easily.

It would be nice if we could apply more of a circuit or wiring diagram approach (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Circuit_diagram) where lines are always at right angles to each other, avoiding crossing other lines except where they do combine.

Not sure how we can handle this in Graphiti or if other Graphiti users have done something similar, but it's something to investigate.
