The DroolsBPMExchangeHandler uses a Lock when interacting with the StatefulKnowledgeSession. We should investigate removing this to handle concurrent messages.

It should be noted that there is one instance of the handler - and thus the session - per activated service. It is not shared among multiple services, even within the same application.
