SY seem to be using aether API directly - it should be avoided/removed especially since m2e 1.5 upgrades to the org.eclipse aether instead of the org.sonatype aether.

Would be good if SY could do that too so users wanting to use m2e 1.5 which has much less memory issues than m2e 1.4 has.
