In both core and components, there are areas where SwitchYard accesses fields inconsistently with respect to synchronization (mix of locked/unlocked accesses, etc).

To see where this is occurring, remove the exception in core/build/src/main/resources/findbugs/findbugs-excludes.xml for IS2_INCONSISTENT_SYNC and run findbugs.
