The job 'Synchronizing EMF Resources' is blocking any editor editing. This job occurs after adding a bean component and it never finishes. A user must kill the job 'Waiting User Operation' (killing the sync job doesn't help). But after killing that job the changes are lost, e.g. the bean component disappear but the classes are created.
