SWITCHYARD-1097 removed the capability of walking object graphs to discover annotated classes/properties/fields for serialization rules. This needs to be re-introduced (wish some cleanup), as the temporary mapping mechanism introduced puts too much responsibility on the developer to write unnecessary code.
