I should add that this is not set in stone. This is effectively the first project level
patch release, so we can certainly do things differently if need be. Please open a forum
topic or a dev list thread to continue if needed.

using the final designation. This also follows the naming convention of the
product. But we will still use the alpha designations for the mainline
