May I suggest this:
The UDF Jar file can be included in the classpath at runtime, by including it in the VDB archive, under the lib directory (ex:
/lib/
).
What prompted this comment? It is still valid. Teiid scans the lib folder in a VDB to add any jars to the VDB classloader.
