FYI...... I have successfully created a VDB in Designer, Depoyed it to a running TEIID from Designer AND executed general SQL from DTP's SQL Scrapbook Example: Select * From PARTS where PARTS.PART_WEIGHT > 16 Basically ad-hoc queries!!!! Still a bunch of clean-up work to do, but the mechanics are basically in-place. Thx to John Verhaeg for completing the necessary VDB editor changes, nice job John. Thx Ramesh for walking me through some JNDI and Teiid server naming requirements. Barry
