[JBoss JIRA] Created: (TEIIDDES-1024) Create separate icons for different types of models
by Ramesh Reddy (JIRA)
Create separate icons for different types of models
---------------------------------------------------
Key: TEIIDDES-1024
URL: https://issues.jboss.org/browse/TEIIDDES-1024
Project: Teiid Designer
Issue Type: Feature Request
Components: Modeling
Reporter: Ramesh Reddy
Priority: Minor
Currently the Designer only shows blue (source models), orange(view models) cubes for the models. It would be useful to show different types of icons for each model type. For example, use DB icon for Relational Database, or file icon for file based sources, xml, web-service so on. This will help identify the sources quickly when combined with names.

> When importing JDBC metadata from a MySQL database, the connection profile specifies the database name (schema). However, on the Select Database Objects page (4th page), the database name specified in the connection URL is not automatically selected. The user must select the correct schema to proceed. It should default to the database specified in the connection profile.
