> I've found out the multi-source binding support section in Teiid Designer User Guide 8.2, Chapter 9.
>
> In my testing project, I made a flat file data source and model. It's OK to query through VDB. Then I wanted to integrate another flat file in the same schema, which can be applied with multi-source binding support.
>
> As the User Guide pdf said, I clicked the VDB editor's Model tab, and then Source Binding Definition tab. I clicked the Multi-source check box and added a new source. Then a new tuple was added in the table, but among the three columns(source name, JNDI Name and Translator Name), only one can be edited till eclipse turns into a no-response state.

I was able to reproduce this, re-assigning to Paul. In debug, I see the panel update correctly but then another event is recvd in TeiidParentServerListener.serverChanged. At or near line 73 it is creating a new TeiidInstance.

[JBoss JIRA] (TEIIDDES-1967) Re-enable Create REST War guides view action set
by Barry LaFond (JIRA)
Barry LaFond created TEIIDDES-1967:
--------------------------------------
Summary: Re-enable Create REST War guides view action set
Key: TEIIDDES-1967
URL: https://issues.jboss.org/browse/TEIIDDES-1967
Project: Teiid Designer
Issue Type: Task
Components: Views
Affects Versions: 8.4
Reporter: Barry LaFond
Fix For: 8.4
The Create REST War action set requires additional work to enable properly creating the REST procedure. (See TEIIDDES-1937)
Once this action (dialog and processor) are working, then the action set will be able to go start-to-finish.
For 8.3, the action set has been commented out in the ActionGuides.init() method.

by Ted Jones (JIRA)
Ted Jones commented on TEIIDDES-1961:
-------------------------------------
Confirmed on Mac. I suspect Windows will have the same issue as that seems to be the pattern with this issue in the past. Barry has fixed this in other text fields before.. assigning to him.

Cannot repeat this on linux.
[~tejones],
Would you mind testing on mac as Van did find this problem in a macOS environment?
