[JBoss JIRA] (TEIIDDES-2256) Confusing data type "integer" and "int"

I would also disagree, as this feature request was already logged: https://issues.jboss.org/browse/TEIIDDES-2238
And based on all the previous jira's, yes resolved, but none the less shows data type mapping isn't perfect. And as we add more data sources, it will continue to be a challenge.

> I understand that
> "integer" maps to "xs:biginteger"
> "int" maps "xs:long"
> How they are confusing when there is already one available for biginteger. Also the Table creation wizard does not provide option to to select "int". When user chooses "integer" it often is "int".
> This confusion needs to be resolved. IMO "integer" can be removed, however I am not sure how it effects data type system

But I think the remapping of the data type at import time would be beneficial (and more efficient) when the user can change the mapping at import time and also indicate (if we add the option) to do this for all columns of this type.

I can map the "integer" from the Teiid DDL importer to "int" so the design-time type is set properly.
The dialog changes would be used when changing/setting a specific datatype for a column via *Modeling > Set Datatype* action.

I understand that, but its the purpose of displaying the data types is so the user can select a different one (if they choose). Otherwise, why display the list. Just go ahead and map the default design type.

> When I try to create masking using the Security column in Edit VDB Data Role dialogue. It says: "No condition defined". I don't want to create a condition and also creating condition on column doesn't make sense in my opinion.
