[JBoss JIRA] (TEIIDDES-2466) Create Preview VDB for only the model containing the table that is being preview
by Ramesh Reddy (JIRA)
Ramesh Reddy commented on TEIIDDES-2466:
----------------------------------------
why?
There are many things need to be wired to make the preview work. The main reason is dependencies between models. If the model is not modified from previous time it deployed, I do not think Designer will try to redeploy again. If that is being done, may be that needs to be fixed to reduce the time for preview.

> Currently once you preview one table a Preview VDB is created for all the models in the project, request that the Preview VDB only be created for the model containing the table that is being previewed.

[JBoss JIRA] (TEIIDDES-2465) [Usability] Error message should at least contain the username it tried to use

is this error on server side? I believe that is deemed audit risk to show user name, but could be wrong.

> It would nice to at least have the username that was used.
> I had previously updated the default username and password, and tested the connection, and it said it was ok. Not sure why the preview doesn't want to work.
