Paul Richardson resolved TEIIDDES-1374.
---------------------------------------
Release Notes Text:
see branch 7.7.1
* UiBusyIndicator
* This class was original copied from BusyIndicator but both fail to
actually display the WAITING cursor for any given teiid runnable. This
is due to the runnables not allowing the Display thread to refresh the
cursor icon before kicking off the runnable operation.
* The proper way of doing it is shown in
http://www.eclipse.org/swt/snippets/#busyindicator
* This is tortuous so repeat for all runnables so this class has been
modified to use the same logic internally.
Resolution: Done
Adding a WSDL to the WSDL File or URL imported does not display the
UI WAITING Cursor
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Key: TEIIDDES-1374
URL:
https://issues.jboss.org/browse/TEIIDDES-1374
Project: Teiid Designer
Issue Type: Bug
Reporter: Paul Richardson
Assignee: Paul Richardson
Fix For: 7.7.1
When importing WSDLs in the 'WSDL File or URL' imported, the 'Select WSDL
page' can take a few seconds to read the WSDL and add it to the table. The cursor does
not change to a waiting icon so there is no way of knowing that the UI is still doing
anything.
The UIJob framework or UiBusyIndicator class seem unable to display the changed icon even
though the cursor has been modified in the code.
